Well, I've been a designer and illustrator for years and I'd like to sell my art on tees and sweat shirts. I don't think I want to actually get involved in printing and since I'm a web design expert, I have no clue where to start. I think my biggest concerns is the lagal issues. I want to work with a printer or various printers and purchase blank shirts and sweat shirts etc. So I assume it's legal to resell other shirts as a brand so long as it has your designs/illustrations on it? I may consider printing later but I'd rather stick to what I'm good at. Illustration/design and web dev. Can you supply advice on how much I should pay for blank tees and printing and what I can and cannot do? The web site and the designs are no problem. It's everything else. Printing, purchasing wholesale and price mark up.

Awesome post! Just what I needed to hear right now. I recently got featured on a small t-shirt blog and received quite a bit of hits from it for a couple of days. While I didn’t receive any sales from it, it was enough to get me motivated to take it further. And thanks for that link to technorati.com!
