Today I wanted to talk about one of his teachings, the mastermind group. Napolean describes a mastermind group as:
The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.
So a group of people with common interests helping each other out. When I started out I made friends with a lot of designers and clothing company owners and picked their brains about everything. Our goal was to learn from each other and help each other succeed.
Along my journey I forgot about how powerful the mastermind group is. I didnt talk with my friends very much and lost my passion. Right now I am traveling Central America and meeting a lot of entrepreuners along the way. Hearing them be passionate about their business has really energized me and put the passion back into my work. I am traveling for another month but I am excited to get back home and work on some new projects.
Also realize that a mastermind group is a relationship between individuals and you need to give back to the group, it cant just be completely one sided like in any relationship. Start making those connections and devloping your own mastermind group.
